Herrity Building Closed until 10am due to Inclement Weather

Due to the inclement weather, lobby hours for the Herrity Building will begin at 10am.

Despite the late start, LDS operations will continue as usual thanks to the availability of online permitting and processing and the option for staff to telework. 

• Staff are available to answer phone calls and emails.
• Staff will continue to process applications and plan reviews.
• Most virtual building inspections will continue as planned.
• Visit our Meet with Staff page or LDS Staff directory to reach out to LDS staff with questions.

Due to the weather, the following will not be available until after 10am:

• No in person meetings.

• The Site Development and Inspections Division (SDID) main telephone line, 703-324-1720, will not be available until the building is open. Please contact SDID by emailing LDSSDIDAdmin@fairfaxcounty.gov.

• Additionally, owing to the late start today building inspections will be conducted virtually. Inspections may be rescheduled if warranted.
