PLUS Release 4 System Outage Begins October 21

On October 31, 2022, the Planning and Land Use System (PLUS) will be the central Fairfax County platform for customers to complete land development related processes. 

To transition to the new system, PLUS and ProjectDox will be offline between October 21 and October 31 while FIDO and PAWS will be in view-only mode. For several weeks after the outage, supporting data including plan sheets and attached documents from ProjectDox will continue to migrate into PLUS. 

Four Things to Know:

1. On October 21 at 4:30 p.m. systems will be brought down or placed into view-only mode.
2. On October 31, PLUS will replace legacy systems – FIDO, PAWS and ProjectDox.
3. Please check your email for instructions on registration/creating accounts in PLUS.
