Great News for LDS Customers: More PLUS Improvements

Over the weekend of March 3, 2023, the county’s technology staff implemented more improvements to the Planning and Land Use System (PLUS) to serve you better. Check out these nine new PLUS fixes!

Site

1. Corrected the error where some application workflows would stop after payment was received, which required manual intervention to correct. 

 

2. Applicants can now submit “Minor Revisions” directly in PLUS. 

 

3. Updated inspection checklists and reports which increased inspection staff efficiency.

 

4. Developed filters and reports to increase staff efficiency in managing submissions.

 

Building

 

5. Updated commercial mechanical record types to better process range hood permits. Changes included adjustments to the digital plan room, license validation and the auto-issuance script.

 

6. Updated commercial electrical record types to better process low voltage system permits including changes to the digital plan room, license validation and the auto-issuance script.

 

7. Corrected the programming associated with elevator permits fees.

 

8. Improved Masterfile records to allow amendments/revisions.

 

9. Made the Building Records Issued report available online. This report replaces the Permit Issued Report in FIDO and lists all records issued based on date. This report allows constituents to enter a date and receive four weeks of data on all issued permits. The query can also run based on a single address. The results are returned in an Excel spreadsheet format that can be downloaded.
