Land Development Services (LDS) has posted Technical Bulletin 23-02, which reduces design flow rates for some uses in sanitary sewer capacity calculations.

The new, lower, flow rates may be used immediately.

 

The Department of Public Works and Environmental Services (DPWES) recommends lowering average design flows for new and existing sanitary sewers for single-family detached, multi-family and office developments. LDS concurs with these updated design flows for use in lieu of the current recommended values in Public Facility Manual Table 10.1.
