Dear Mr. Mcentire,

This Wednesday night and Thursday, the world will mark Gimmel Tammuz, the Rebbe’s yahrzeit. In honor of this special day, we invite you to join us for a special experience.

Many know of the Rebbe as a brilliant visionary and wise leader, whose Torah scholarship, inspiring teachings, mitzvah campaigns, and out-of-the-box approach forever changed the face of the Jewish world. 

Tonight, we’d like to present a unique vantage point from Rabbi Mendel Scharf.

Mendel was just seven years old when his father suddenly passed away, leaving behind four orphans. The Rebbe took a unique interest in the Scharf children, showering them with attention, love, and paternal concern, which we can all learn from. 

We are pleased to host a presentation by Rabbi Scharf,  who will share his story and the lessons and inspiration he continues to carry with him more than 30 years later.
