New Submission Schedule for the Fairfax County Architectural Review Board Land Development Services received the following information from the Architectural Review Board (ARB). Forwarding along these details for awareness.  Fairfax County Historic Overlay District (HOD) Map The Architectural Review Board (ARB) has adopted a new submission schedule for those who have an application for ARB action or workshop application. Starting with the September 2026 ARB meeting, applications will be due 3 weeks before the meeting date. For projects in the Lorton MOA Eligible District, the submission schedule will stay the same, except that workshop applications will now also be due 3 weeks before the meeting. Please refer to the due dates listed below or visit the ARB Application Process and Submission Schedule webpage for more information.  The new submission schedule has been updated to provide time for the publication of staff reports, which detail staff’s analysis of an application submitted for action. Staff reports will be made available through PLUS.
