VDOT Land Development Office Hours - Northern Virginia District Pilot ProgramThe VDOT Northern Virginia District Land Development Office Hours pilot has provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen communication and collaboration throughout the land development review process. Based on the positive feedback received during the initial pilot, VDOT is pleased to extend the initiative through the end of Calendar Year 2026. The goal of these Office Hours is to provide developers and consulting firms involved with land development an opportunity to connect directly with VDOT staff to discuss questions or concerns related to:
- Process, policy, and guidelines
- Status of ongoing reviews
- General land development review topics
These sessions are intended to support early engagement, improve communication, and help streamline the review process. Office Hours will be held from 9 a.m. to 12:00 noon on the following dates:

Office hours will be held at: VDOT Northern Virginia District Office 4975 Alliance Drive Fairfax, VA 22030 Participants are welcome to stop by during the Office Hours. Our front desk staff will sign you in and connect you with the appropriate Area Land Use Engineer for Fairfax/Arlington, Loudoun, or Prince William County. While we will make every effort to address questions during the session, some items—particularly detailed engineering questions—may require additional follow-up. We appreciate the strong participation and positive feedback received during the pilot and encourage developers and consultants to continue taking advantage of this opportunity.
